Qualifications

• Board certification or eligible in General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery.
• At least 5 years of surgical experience.
• Academic/research setting with teaching responsibilities.
• Experience in thoracic surgery focusing on lung transplant.
• Experience with minimally invasive and robotic techniques.
• Interest in leading a clinical program and education.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a new lung transplant program.
• Shape clinical protocols and multidisciplinary team.
• Develop referral network and UNOS certification.
• Collaborate with University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix.
• Provide academic and clinical leadership.
