Job summary

TRAK Group's manufacturing client in Hebron, Kentucky is seeking a Process Technician to support production operations through mold changes, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of rubber injection molding presses and related equipment.

You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering to minimize downtime, improve productivity, and ensure consistent product quality on a 3rd shift schedule in-office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of rubber injection press experience.
• Knowledge of rubber processing equipment and manufacturing operations.
• Experience performing mold or production equipment changeovers.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and equipment repair procedures.
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills related to production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold and secondary equipment changeovers according to production schedules.
• Verify equipment is operating properly before releasing it to production operators.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and Management to minimize downtime.
• Complete scheduled production preventive maintenance activities.
• Support efficient equipment startups and consistent production performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair rubber injection molding presses and related equipment.
• Create, document, and follow up on maintenance work orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
