Job summary

Woodstream in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Molding Tool Maintenance Tech for the third shift to maintain and repair injection molds and support production.

You will perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, trim and repair tools, and collaborate with Production and Quality teams to ensure mold availability and quality. The role requires disassembly, cleaning, reassembly of molds, and safe operation of overhead cranes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Completed basic mold making course training or on the job mold maintenance training.
• Good knowledge of plastic injection mold design, repair and preventive maintenance of molds.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean and re-assemble complex molds.
• Perform mold core/cavity changeovers to support production.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs using shop equipment.
