Job summary

Chileda Institute Inc. seeks a 3rd Shift Manager to oversee safety and coordination of the program during the shift. You will collaborate with departments and leads to ensure adequate staffing and support for operations.

You will manage attendance, incident reporting, crisis procedures, and emergency planning, directing staff and residents during emergencies while maintaining compliant documentation and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or 3+ years supervisory experience in licensed care.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Leadership ability and a positive can-do attitude.
• Ability to handle crisis situations safely and effectively.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote respect, learning, safety, collaboration and compassion during shift operations.
• Follow attendance, incident, crisis response and emergency procedures.
• Maintain Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Planning readiness and staff direction in emergencies.
• Plan coverage with other Shift Managers and Scheduling Coordinator for supervision.
• Coordinate residential programming, educational programming, and community outings.
• Develop and maintain daily staff assignments and transitions for shifts.
• Proactively create campus schedules and keep personal schedule updated in Outlook.
• Communicate shift information to next Shift Manager and Health & Wellness staff.
• Ensure incidents and emergency interventions are documented in Client Management Software.
• Support staff with crisis response, medical attention, and follow-up for injuries.
• Assist with staff orientation, mentorship, and retraining as needed.
