Job summary

Staffmark Group in Carmel, IN seeks a Production Team Lead for the 3rd shift to oversee Production Associates and drive safe, efficient operations in automotive component manufacturing. You will collaborate with QA, manufacturing engineering, and process engineering; train staff; implement Lean practices; and maintain production goals while upholding product quality.

This role offers hourly pay with shift differential after training, with a career path from Production Associate and opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree in management or related field is a plus.
• First line management training or certification preferred; manufacturing experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up, instruct, and manage workflow of Production associates.
• Assist hands-on production and assembly tasks.
• Perform minor equipment repairs when Maintenance is unavailable.
• Inspect production outputs and ensure quality.
• Lead Lean/Agile manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Train new staff and coordinate with Plant Manager and Process Engineer.
• Ensure safety and provide PPE to staff.
• Support daily operations and special projects as needed.
