Job summary

voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation in Jeffersonville, IN, seeks a 3rd shift supervisor to lead production teams and deliver quality parts on time. The role requires strong communication, team-building, and Lean manufacturing experience, with relocation within 45 miles of the facility.

You will coach staff, manage daily workloads, and ensure safety and adherence to SOPs. The position is full-time, on-site, with overtime and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two+ years of related experience in roll forming, metal fabrication, or similar manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn manufacturing software (Global Shop Solutions).
• U.S. person status or ITAR/EAR compliance required.
• Willingness to relocate within 45 miles of facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead production teams within their group and communicate plans and instructions clearly.
• Ensure timely decisions, follow-through, and consistent communication at all levels.
• Coach employees and address performance issues promptly.
• Maintain work Instructions and SOPs, and ensure adherence to policies.
• Coordinate resources to meet annual budget and apply lean manufacturing techniques.
• Schedule daily workload considering setup time and staffing, and ensure safety.
• Work with Quality Assurance to inspect in-process and final work and verify conformance.
• Prepare production reports, manage equipment inspections, and order materials as needed.
• Promote a positive supervisory attitude and CI initiatives such as Kaizen, Kanban, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Provide training opportunities and tools to staff for effective performance.
