Job summary

W. L. Gore & Associates is seeking a Third Shift Manufacturing Technician to operate large, complex equipment in a regulated environment.

You will work the 11:00 PM–7:30 AM shift on Sundays through Fridays at the Cherry Hill facility in Elkton, Maryland. Responsibilities include equipment setup, operation, maintenance, product inspection, data entry, and ensuring GMP/ISO compliance. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating large complex machinery
• Demonstrated ability to learn and execute detailed manufacturing processes and follow written procedures
• Strong math and computer skills with ability to learn more advanced systems
• Demonstrated effective communications skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to positively influence teammates
• Proven attention to detail with ability to focus on primary commitments while managing multiple priorities
• Maintain a positive attitude and actively engage in team discussions and activities
• Must be able to routinely lift/push/pull up to 35lbs
• Demonstrated ability to work overtime and flex work schedule to meet business needs
• Ability to work within a controlled/clean-room manufacturing environment including wearing clean room garments and required PPE

Responsibilities

• Learn, support, and practice Gore culture
• Adhere to and advocate safe work practices in a manufacturing environment
• Follow Quality System Procedures in the manufacture of rolled good medical products
• Perform complex equipment setup, operation and preventative maintenance tasks
• Perform product inspection and testing
• Perform data collection/entry, complete transactions, and move inventory via MES or ERP systems
• Ensure our process delivers products that meet customer needs and expectations that adhere to GMP and ISO standards
• Utilize GBS tools to continuously improve maunfacturing and business processes
• Communicate effectively with numerous cross functional teams
