Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.

• Experience in loading/unloading and staging freight.
• Reliable with background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload freight from trailers and equipment.
• Prepare trailers: sweep, inspect, clean, and organize before loading.
• Weigh and dimension shipments, plan cube utilization and weight distribution.
• Inspect and document damage or shortages; review freight bills and manifests.
• Verify hazardous material descriptions and placarding as required.
• Properly block and brace freight to prevent shifting during transit.
