Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a Manager for the Third-Party Risk Strategy pillar within Optimize's Third Party Risk & Social Responsibility team. Based in the US, you will help define and govern the firm's global TPRM program, collaborating with Ethics, Finance, Legal, and Cyber to deliver risk programs across suppliers.

You will lead improvements to standards, reporting, and program materials, and you will coach a risk-first culture with stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience with 5+ years in risk management or compliance
• Experience in developing internal controls, processes and principles related to third party risk management
• Excellent judgment and integrity, with interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Strong project management skills with ability to drive outcomes on cross-functional projects
• Curious mindset and ability to apply concepts across content areas
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to use and develop AI capabilities
• Comfortable with ambiguity in a work setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for global audiences

Responsibilities

• Support design and evolution of the firm's supplier risk lifecycle from onboarding to governance
• Ensure onboarding processes are efficient, auditable, and aligned with risk appetite and UX expectations
• Co-create strategy and manage risk-based processes for end-to-end supplier onboarding program
• Develop and implement McKinsey's third-party risk framework and risk programs
• Monitor service levels, controls, and processes; drive improvements where gaps exist
• Define and monitor key program metrics like onboarding cycle times and remediation effectiveness
• Collaborate with Ethics & Compliance, Finance, Legal, and Cyber teams to deliver risk solutions
