Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a Manager for the Third-Party Risk Strategy within Optimize to lead the global supplier onboarding program. You will shape risk-based processes, implement third-party risk frameworks, and collaborate with Ethics & Compliance, Finance, Legal and Cyber teams across multiple offices.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Third-Party Risk Strategy and work from multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+years of professional experience with 5+ years in risk management or compliance, ideally in a large multinational organization.
• Experience in developing internal controls, processes and principles related to third party risk management.
• Excellent judgment and exceptional integrity, as well as distinctive interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Strong project management skills, with ability to drive to outcomes on cross-functional and complex projects.
• Curious mindset and demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and ideas, and to apply those concepts across multiple content areas.
• Strong professional computing skills, including Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Ability to use and develop AI capabilities.
• Comfortable with ambiguity in a work-setting, knowing how to address and manage unpredictable outcomes.
• Superior communication & interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to a global audience on a regular basis, build and maintain highly effective and collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the firm's supplier risk lifecycle.
• Ensure onboarding processes are efficient, auditable, and aligned with risk appetite.
• Co-create strategy and manage risk-based processes for end-to-end supplier onboarding.
• Develop and implement McKinsey's third-party risk framework and risk programs.
• Assess service levels, controls, and processes; drive improvements.
• Define and monitor program metrics such as onboarding cycle times and risk coverage.
• Handle global stakeholders and report to Senior Manager of Third-Party Risk Strategy.
• Stay ahead of risk issues and drive special projects across the organization.
