Qualifications

• JD required; licensed to practice in relevant US jurisdiction.
• Litigation experience as a litigator or litigation manager is required.
• Willingness to travel for mediations, trials, and related meetings.
• Ability to work in high-visibility settings with shifting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and evaluate Third Party Liability claims
• Make proper coverage determinations
• Determine appropriate valuation of complex claims
• Recommend settlement strategies and adhere to company policies
• Collaborate with insureds, brokers, partners, internal teams, and external coverage attorneys
• Travel to mediations and trials and strengthen relationships with AXIS partners
• Develop claims and litigation strategies
• Delegate tasks and oversee external legal advisors
• Assist with underwriting inquiries
• Analyze claim trends and conduct data analysis and comprehensive risk assessments
• Maintain precise claim activity records and update systems with relevant details
