Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Five (5) years of claims management experience.
• Three (3) years of litigation claims management.
• Legal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Address cases involving legal inquiries; develop strategy for satisfactory resolution.
• Work with clients and keep them informed of anticipated exposure.
• Handle public relations related to media interest in specific cases.
• Review reports; respond to inquiries; seek legal opinion and early resolution; communicate resolution.
• Identify cases for settlements and coordinate with local counsel.
• Attend mediations or hearings as needed; coordinate action plans and timelines.
