Albertsons Companies in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Third-Party Help Desk Department Specialist II to resolve Third-Party claim processing issues and support staff with billing procedures. You will troubleshoot, communicate clearly, and follow up to ensure accurate and compliant billing.

The role requires strong problem-solving, customer service, and knowledge of pharmacy billing processes, with shifts including evenings and Saturdays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed/certified pharmacy technician or minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to pharmacy inquiries regarding Third-Party billing and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Document all calls in the proprietary call management system for tracking, escalation, and reporting.
• Act as a liaison between pharmacies and insurance plans to resolve billing issues.
• Work flexible shifts, including evenings and Saturdays.
• Interpret and respond to internal billing edits to ensure accurate, compliant claims.
• Troubleshoot billing and procedural issues and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
