We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Third Cook/Special Order Cook.
In this role, the successful candidate performs work of moderate difficulty in the preparation of various menu items, involving a variety of cooking operations as instructed by the immediate supervisor or designee.
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of cooking experience as a Cook's Helper in a high-volume healthcare institution or large-volume food service establishment. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Knowledge of portion control, forecasting procedures, and ingredients. Ability to follow recipes and adjust yields. Knowledge of HACCP principles. Understanding of food presentation and service. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Culinary degree or certification preferred.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
