Job summary

Foley Equipment, in partnership with Caterpillar ThinkBIG, offers a two-year paid internship for aspiring diesel technicians starting June 2027. You will rotate between ThinkBIG school experiences and Foley locations, earning over 2,000 hours of valuable hands-on work while pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree.

You’ll be mentored by experienced technicians, learn shop safety, and gain exposure to state-of-the-art Caterpillar equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude evaluation may be part of the process.
• Interest in Caterpillar equipment and hands-on shop work.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Foley's safety culture and shop procedures.
• Learn from mentors and combine classroom learning with hands-on experience.
• Attend school while completing required program assignments.
• Travel occasionally for training or to assist at other Foley locations.
