Job summary

Ohio Machinery Co. in partnership with Owens Community College offers the Caterpillar ThinkBIG Program, a two-year paid internship designed to launch your career as a diesel technician.

You will combine classroom learning with hands-on shop experience at Ohio CAT locations, while earning your degree. During the program you will complete the Caterpillar curriculum, maintain a strong GPA, and represent Ohio CAT on campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required before program start).
• Basic diesel knowledge or mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/carry up to 40 lbs; pull up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, sit, climb stairs, and enter/exit machinery.
• Frequent hand/wrist/finger movement.
• Work environments range from quiet offices to loud shop environments.
