Job summary

RTP Company in Henderson, KY is seeking an extrusion operator to set up and run thermoplastic extrusion equipment for blending, mixing, packaging, and transporting materials for customer products. The role supports a 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday night through Saturday morning, within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include operating machinery, monitoring production, troubleshooting, documenting procedures, and ensuring safety and ISO standards.

Qualifications

Must work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment and follow safety procedures.
Must operate/monitor equipment to ensure quality production.
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs regularly and stand for an 8-hour shift.
Read and follow manuals and procedures precisely.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace and dependable attendance.
Willing to work overtime and tolerate temperature extremes.
Must pass forklift and respirator fit tests and read/write/speak English.

Responsibilities

Set up, start, and operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials according to procedures.
Weigh ingredients and ensure correct delivery to work area and insert pre-blended materials.
Monitor production and equipment for safe, efficient operation.
Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
Document logs, data reports, and procedures; maintain data integrity.
Package finished materials and refer issues to Leads or Managers.
