Job summary

RTP Company, a global compounder of thermoplastic materials, seeks an extrusion operator for a 3pm–11pm shift. You will set up and run thermoplastic extrusion equipment, ensuring continuous strands and adherence to ISO and safety standards.

Responsibilities include weighing ingredients, monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, and packaging finished pellets. The role requires reading manuals, maintaining logs, and lifting up to 60 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials according to procedures.
• Monitor production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues and transfer samples for lab evaluation.
• Package finished pelletized materials and maintain data integrity in logs and reports.
• Follow safety rules, participate in training, and maintain housekeeping standards.
