Job summary

RTP Company in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an extrusion operator for the production line. You will set up and run thermoplastic extrusion equipment, blend materials, package products, and monitor quality during a Sunday-Thursday night shift.

You will weigh ingredients, feed materials, and perform routine troubleshooting while maintaining safety and data integrity. Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work in temperature extremes.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow manuals and procedures.
• Ability to operate and monitor extrusion equipment.
• Lift up to 60 lbs regularly and stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion machinery per SOPs to ensure continuous material strands.
• Weigh ingredients and feed into equipment as required.
• Monitor production and equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
• Document logs, data reports, and batch changes.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
