Job summary

RTP Company, based in Winona, Minnesota, is seeking a qualified operator to set up and run thermoplastic extrusion equipment used to blend, mix, package, and transport materials for our customer products.

The role requires manual dexterity, ability to read procedures, lift up to 60 lbs, and work the 3rd shift on a rotating weekend schedule, with safety as a priority and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and operate machinery to mix, extrude, discharge, or handle materials according to procedures, ensuring continuous strands and adherence to safety and ISO standards.
• Weigh ingredients and feed into machinery or ensure correct ingredients are delivered to the work area.
• Monitor production and equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues.
• Document work, logs, data reports, and procedures as required.
