Job summary

Genpak in Scottsburg, IN is seeking a production packer to operate thermoforming lines with minimal supervision. You will pack on all thermoforming machines, ensure product quality, verify packaging materials, and support line efficiency.

Responsibilities include feeding trim presses, removing scrap, monitoring equipment, and communicating any issues to the Packer and Supervisor. Education is not required; position is in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Pack on all thermoforming machines including auto packer.
• Ensure product meets quality standards.
• Confirm packaging material matches quality docket requirements.
• Feed sheet through trim press as required.
• Help remove scrap from around former to disposal buggy.
• Clear packing table from end of roll/start of new roll debris to get count mark for new roll.
• Perform simple machine procedures while operator away from area.
• Understand the basic operation of the machine and its safety features.
• Communicate equipment or material issues to Packer and Supervisor.
• Perform all end of shift duties, such as sweeping and cleaning packing table.
