Job summary
Genpak is seeking an experienced Thermoforming Operator to run six thermoformers, monitor heat and cooling, and ensure quality through inspection and documentation. You will start and stop machines, adjust settings, and perform roll changes with minimal scrap while maintaining a safe work environment.
The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, proper PPE use, and accurate reporting of any machine issues or quality concerns.
Qualifications
- Experience operating thermoformers to spec.
- Ability to perform quality inspections and document results.
- Startup/shutdown and adjust machines unaided.
- Read gauges and record heat readings for each machine.
- Follow safety rules and wear PPE per policy.
Responsibilities
- Operate all six Thermoformers within defined specs without assistance.
- Identify heating/cooling problems and report issues immediately.
- Check/maintain oilers and perform roll changes with minimal scrap.
- Record production data and complete first piece inspection.
- Ensure proper packaging and stock materials for production runs.
- Maintain clean, safe work area and adhere to safety rules.
