Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use a calculator.
• English speaking, reading and writing is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows set up instructions.
• Prepares machine setup duties by installing molds, cutting dies, slug remover and other tooling accessories.
• Loads raw film rolls using overhead crane onto unwind station and feeding film into machine.
• Monitors quality of parts as they exit the machine by hand pulling and inspecting.
• Adjusts machine temperature, speed, and pressure settings to maintain quality parts.
• Sets counting scale accurately for each job.
• Performs simple maintenance on the machine (e.g., greasing).
• Inspects tooling and equipment for mechanical defects and reports issues.
• Records work order information using barcode scanners and written documentation.
• Palletizes finished goods and packs products into boxes or gaylords.
