Job summary

You will start up and shut down machines, monitor gauges, and ensure production meets required specifications.

You will stock packaging materials, make necessary adjustments, and maintain a clean, safe work environment while communicating quality issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and recording gauges and heat readings.
• Knowledge of quality checks such as burn, cold cracking and registration.
• Ability to learn and operate all six thermoformers.
• Familiarity with first piece inspection and production log paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate all six thermoformers within defined specification without assistance.
• Identify heating/cooling problems and report issues immediately.
• Start up and shut down thermoformers unassisted.
• Recognize and perform adjustments as needed without assistance.
• Read instrumentation gauges to record heat readings on each machine.
• Perform quality checks (burning, cold cracking and registration) per roll.
• Stock packaging materials and prepare boxes, poly bags, and foam rolls.
• Produce product with correct width, gauge, and weight.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe work environment.
