PACCAR Technical Center in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking an experienced Technician to support engineering staff and test operations within the Thermal Management Group (TMG).

This hands-on role involves preparing medium- and heavy-duty trucks for laboratory and field testing, installing instrumentation and data acquisition systems, operating test equipment under engineering direction, and supporting thermal systems evaluations.

Formación

• Associate degree or related hands-on experience required.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Experience with instrumentation and data acquisition preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and install test instrumentation on trucks for testing.
• Install and configure data acquisition and monitoring equipment.
• Operate test facility equipment including dynamometer and environmental controls.
• Perform pre-test inspections and data channel checks.
• Troubleshoot issues affecting vehicle or instrumentation.
• Maintain structured project documentation and report status.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes.
