Job summary

SANY America is seeking a Thermal Management Engineer to design, develop, and validate cooling systems for hybrid loaders used in off-highway mining. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, suppliers and field personnel to ensure reliable, efficient equipment.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in thermal-management for mobile machinery, strong knowledge of heat-transfer concepts, and experience with design reviews and supplier validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, thermal or related engineering.
• 4+ years in cooling and thermal-management systems for vehicles or mobile machinery.
• Knowledge of heat-transfer simulation, airflow/duct design, cooling component selection, testing and supplier validation.
• Ability to manage priorities, communicate technical findings, and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cooling and thermal-management systems for hybrid loaders operating under high loads.
• Select radiators, fans and cooling hardware based on thermal-balance requirements.
• Support testing, validation and supplier PPAP; optimize ducts and piping through simulation.
