The role involves client relationship management, team leadership, and active business development, with travel likely. A PhD or MS in engineering and PE licensure are required, along with 10+ years of consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Chemical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Petroleum, Fire Protection Engineering or related field with combustion, heat transfer and fluid mechanics expertise.
• U.S. work authorization; no sponsorship.
• 10+ years in technical consulting in fires, product safety, process safety, or related fields.
• Experience testifying as an expert witness.
• Professional Engineer licensure required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead failure analysis, root cause investigations, and product development projects.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across disciplines.
