Job summary

Under the Thermal/Power Plant Chief Engineer, you will monitor gauges, perform SOPs, conduct routine maintenance, and coordinate with plant personnel to uphold safety and efficiency in a demanding environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Three years’ experience operating Thermal/Power Plant equipment and related systems.
• Massachusetts Third Class Engineer's License required.
• Training in productivity improvement and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust and maintain Thermal/Power Plant equipment to maintain heat and power supply.
• Follow SOPs for plant operations and electrical distribution.
• Monitor gauges and controls; maintain specified pressures, temperatures, and power.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs; assist in larger repairs.
• Direct chemical and fuel deliveries; prepare safety and maintenance reports.
• Maintain clean work area and uphold safety policies.
