Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Utility Operator to operate and inspect boiler plant systems under supervision. You will read meters, monitor equipment, and ensure safe, efficient operations in a dynamic plant environment.

Responsibilities include sampling, water treatment, and supporting safety protocols. The role may require overtime, rotating shifts, and licenses within 9 months in MA.

Qualifications

• Three or more months of related experience or training.
• Mechanical skills to perform tasks such as inspections and component replacements.
• Ability to operate power plant auxiliary equipment like air compressors and dryers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and inspect boiler plant systems and related equipment.
• Read meters and gauges to detect malfunctions or abnormal conditions.
• Perform sampling and water treatment tasks as assigned.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Operate mobile equipment (Bobcat, forklift) as needed.
• Work overtime and rotating shifts when required.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and report hazards.
