Job summary

Aquila Technology is seeking a Thermal Engineer to support defense research programs, delivering end-to-end thermal modeling, analysis, and testing for space, airborne, and other platforms. Candidates will apply thermal materials data and CAD tools to ensure safe operating temperatures across multiple mission phases.

The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, rigorous testing, and adherence to mission requirements, with travel minimal and US citizenship/clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5 years of Thermal Analysis experience.
• 5 years of Thermal Desktop experience.
• 5 years Thermal Engineering experience.
• 5 years SolidWorks experience.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end development and execution of geometry-based thermal models and material properties.
• Provide thermal expertise to system-level trade studies and design reviews.
• Carry out system-level and detailed component-level thermal design, analysis, and testing on space-qualified systems.
