A degree in engineering or applied physics is required, along with experience in thermal simulation tools. Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of heat transfer in academic or professional settings.
Hands-on experience prototyping hardware and conducting thermal tests.
Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
Own thermal design and component vendor management for space hardware.
Develop and execute thermal tests to reduce risk on key hardware.
Communicate system architectural pros and cons related to thermal considerations.
