Job summary

Encompass Health Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will balance hands-on patient care with team leadership, guiding therapists and other clinicians to achieve meaningful outcomes.

You will mentor staff, supervise daily operations, and help drive performance and quality improvement across the therapy service while maintaining hands-on treatment.

Qualifications

• License required: PT, OT, or SLP in state.
• BLS (CPR) required or within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline‑specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy plans.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy and monitor patient progress.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, scheduling, and documentation to meet goals.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
