Job summary

Encompass Health Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to balance hands-on patient care with leadership. You will supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians, develop treatment plans, and mentor team members to deliver high-quality rehabilitation outcomes.

Current PT, OT, or SLP license is required, BLS/CPR within 30 days, and a minimum of three years in the discipline. Leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT/OT/SLP in the state of Illinois (or eligibility)
• BLS/CPR required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
• Minimum of three years discipline-specific experience
• Leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response
• Support staff development and performance management
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives
• Drive continuous quality improvement
