Job summary

Encompass Health Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Therapy Team Leader who is a licensed clinician ready to lead while continuing hands-on patient care. You will balance clinical excellence with team leadership, mentoring and developing therapists to achieve meaningful patient outcomes.

In this role you'll supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians; provide evaluations, develop treatments, monitor patient response, and coordinate schedules and training to support business goals.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP license.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
• Minimum three years discipline‑specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
