Job summary

Encompass Health Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who will balance clinical excellence with team leadership, continuing to provide hands-on patient care.

You will supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians, oversee treatment plans, mentor staff, and drive quality improvements while coordinating schedules and training in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP license is required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline‑specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
