Job summary

Encompass Health Lakeshore Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to guide a multidisciplinary therapy team while maintaining hands-on patient care. You will evaluate patients, design treatments, and mentor therapists, assistants, and technicians in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

The role emphasizes leadership with clinical excellence, staff development, and coordination of team tasks to achieve outcomes and quality improvements across the unit.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
