Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls is seeking a Therapy Team Leader to guide the therapy department while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. You will supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians, develop treatment plans, and drive quality outcomes.

Required are a current PT/OT/SLP license, BLS certification, and at least three years of discipline-specific experience; leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty professional certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
