Job summary

HonorHealth’s Therapy Services Aide I role in Phoenix supports physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams by preparing treatment areas and assisting with patient care under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma or GED, with a Physical Therapy Tech certificate preferred, and prior patient care experience. BLS certification is required to ensure safe, quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Tech program preferred.
• Previous patient care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; BLS for Healthcare workers as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and treatment area for care and cleans up after treatment.
• Assists therapists with patient care for patients needing 2-person support.
• Performs modality treatments with parameters directed by therapist.
• Observes and records patient’s range of motion, exercises, and ADLs.
• Provides ambulation training for patients needing minimal assistance.
