Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Therapy Services Aide I for the Sonoran Crossing area in North Phoenix. The role supports physical, occupational, speech therapy, and audiology services. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, on-site at the Sonoran Medical Office Building.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificate graduate of a Physical Therapy Tech program preferred.
• Previous patient care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required for Healthcare workers as appropriate for the unit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and treatment area for care and clean up after treatment.
• Assist therapists with patient care, including two-person transfers when needed.
• Perform modality treatments under therapist directions.
• Observe and record patient performance in ROM, stretching, ADLs, and dysphagia group.
• Provide ambulation training to patients with minimal assistance.
