Job summary

HonorHealth in Scottsdale, AZ, is seeking a Therapy Services Aide I to support physical, occupational, speech language pathology and audiology services. The role involves preparing patients and treatment areas, and assisting therapists under on-site supervision.

Typical shifts are 5 x 8 hours, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm, in a Orthopedic Therapy setting. Prior therapy support experience and a Basic Life Support certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient care preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment area and patient for therapy.
• Assist therapists with patient care and assist of 2 persons when needed.
• Perform modality treatments with correct parameters as directed.
• Observe and document patient ROM, exercises, and ADLs.
• Provide ambulation training for patients.
• Maintain neat department and inventory; clean equipment.
• Assist in scheduling inpatients/outpatients and data entry for therapy orders.
