Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Therapy Services Aide I in Tempe to support physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists and audiologists. You will prepare the patient and treatment area, assist with routine patient care, and help maintain a clean, organized therapy department.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED; a Physical Therapy Tech certificate is preferred. Prior patient care experience and BLS certification are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care and clinical assistance.
• Ability to assist therapists with various modalities as directed.
• Awareness of safety and cleanliness in treatment areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and treatment area for care; assists with patient care under supervision.
• Assists therapists with patient care for patients requiring assistance.
• Performs modality treatments with correct parameters as directed by therapist.
• Maintains department/gym in neat and orderly manner and returns equipment after use.
• Helps schedule patients and data entry for therapy orders as needed.
