Job summary

Houston Physicians’ Hospital is seeking a Therapy Service Administration Manager to lead front-office and back-office operations across outpatient therapy locations. You will supervise reception and insurance teams, drive analytics, and ensure compliant, high‑quality patient service across clinics.

The role reports to the Director of Therapy Services and emphasizes staffing, process improvement, and data-informed decision making to support outpatient therapy programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical or physical therapy office setting.
• Minimum of two years in a supervisory or management role across multiple sites.
• Minimum of three years of insurance verification and authorization experience.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in business analytics and reporting.
• Proficiency in using EMR, clinic management software, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Frequent local travel required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of front office reception teams across multiple outpatient therapy clinic locations.
• Oversee the insurance verification and authorization team.
• Generate insightful metric and financial reports to drive outpatient therapy services.
• Lead and train staff effectively across clinical front-office and back-office administrative functions.
• Ensure clinics provide exceptional patient service while maintaining compliant, data-informed operations.
