Description:Seasonal position in Respiratory Therapy.The unit features a total of 760 beds and a dedicated respiratory therapy staff of 95.The respiratory therapy team consists of 20 full-time equivalents (FTEs) on day shift and 27 FTEs on night shift.Patient ratios are not specified.Key equipment includes V800 Draeger ventilators, C1 Hamiltons, and Airvo for high-flow nasal cannula.The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.The most recruited skill set includes candidates with travel experience.Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for the role.Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months current RRT experience.Preferred skills include pediatric or PICU experience and strong ICU experience.Typical procedures performed on the unit include respiratory care treatments and ventilator management, both invasive and noninvasive.The ideal candidate will exhibit a dynamic and adaptable personality in a fast-paced critical care environment.Notable features of the unit include 24/7 adult intensive care physician coverage and access to advanced medical services like ECMO in adult patients.The unit also provides a Level 1 trauma service and includes a 15-bed PICU and a Level 3 NICU.
