Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week Night shift assignment in Tucson, AZ.

The role includes ED and Adult ICU support, with treatments such as MDI, nebulizers, ABGs, and chest physiotherapy. Requires 2+ years of experience and an active RRT license. BLS is required; PALS preferred.

Candidates must travel and participate in didactics and orientation days; travel and float duties apply.

  • Experience in Emergency Department and Adult ICU is required.
  • BLS mandatory; PALS preferred.
  • RRT license required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapies including MDI, nebulizers, arterial blood gases, and chest physiotherapy.
  • Assist with intubation and manage oxygen therapy in critical care.
  • Transport patients as needed and support ED, ICU, PACU.

Description:13-week assignment.Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required.Experience working in the Emergency Department and Adult ICU is required.BLS and RRT certifications are required.PALS certification is preferred.Candidates must have experience with areas including Floors, Emergency Department, ICU, Pediatrics, Pediatric Emergency Department, and PACU.Treatments include MDI, nebulizers, arterial blood gases, bedside pulmonary function tests, negative inspiratory force measurements, volume control, tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy with manual devices or vest, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula therapy.Other duties include transporting patients.This role requires a day of didactics and two days of orientation covering various areas.Call and float are required.Travelers should not have a history of blocked scheduling as this will not be accommodated.Experience working in diverse age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, is essential.The role includes critical care experience, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, and assisting with intubation.Patient care will encompass a variety of diagnoses across multiple settings.
