Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Indiana. The role involves evening 12-hour shifts and care across all patient populations with Epic EMR usage.

Requirements include NBRC-registered RRT, BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications, and at least 2 years of experience. Weekend coverage is required; onboarding will include department training and orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Licensed as RRT via NBRC.
• Certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes.
• Reviews and maintains care plans.
• Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts care as needed.
• Delivers care to distressed newborns and in the C-section arena.
• Utilizes equipment associated with respiratory care for treatment modalities.
• May be floated to other units or departments as needed.

Description:Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes.Reviews and maintains care plans.Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts care as needed.Delivers care to distressed newborns and in the C-section arena.Utilizes equipment associated with respiratory care for treatment modalities.Familiar with Epic computerized charting (EMR).Scans medication and supply utilization.Uses servo ventilators, BIPAP machines, and other related equipment.Will not work alone and may be called in as needed.Required to work every other weekend.Shifts available are 5pm - 5am.Will receive department-specific training and orientation up to 3 weeks.Floating to other units or departments may be required.Dress code includes black scrubs.
