Description:RRT position for 12-hour night shifts.36 hours accepted per week.Every other weekend is required, no call schedule.Accepting first-time travelers.The facility is an acute care community hospital with 300 beds.Responsibilities include administering nebulizers, chest physiotherapy, high flow oxygen, non-invasive ventilation, cough assist, intrapulmonary percussive ventilation, and assisting with intubations and bronchoscopy.The role includes managing mechanical ventilation and transporting mechanically ventilated patients.Pediatric experience is required only if competency is demonstrated, but continuous albuterol will not be used in level 3 NICU.Patient age groups range from infants to geriatrics, with a preference for neonates.Required experience includes airway management, medication administration, ventilator management, arterial blood gas interpretation, oxygen therapy, suction, and pulmonary hygiene.Experience with equipment such as Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Servo I, and Ltv 1200/ht70 is preferred.Travelers must not have been former employees of the facility regardless of the time since separation.
