Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Wisconsin. The role involves caring for patients from neonates to geriatrics with respiratory issues, performing intubations and ventilator management, and using nebulizers, BiPAP, and CPAP.

You will collect ABGs, respond to codes and rapid responses, and work with two RTs on shift, with a house supervisor available 24/7. Expect EMR and dispensing tech workflows; some hospital-wide float and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active RRT license required.
• Experience with adult and neonatal patients.
• Able to assist with intubations and vent management.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to neonate through geriatric patients.
• Assist with intubations and administer therapies like BiPAP/CPAP.
• Perform ABG collection and monitor ventilator settings.
• Respond to codes and rapid responses as needed.
• Float to different units as required.

Responding to codes and rapid responses is also required.

There will be support within the department with two respiratory therapists on shift, a house supervisor available 24/7, and hospitalist support.

The facility utilizes EMR software and medication dispensing technology.

Staff may be expected to float throughout the hospital.

Holiday expectations include working 50% of holidays as per the contract.

Weekends will rotate every third weekend.
