Job summary

Cynet Health seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night-shift contract in Iowa. You must be licensed in Iowa (or compact multistate), with 2+ years in hospital or critical access settings and experience in ED/ICU. Must have BLS, ACLS, NRP, and NBRC certifications; neonatal care is preferred.

You’ll work across hospital areas and travel provisions apply. Candidate should be comfortable with Drager Vents, Airvo, V60s, NKV-330s and be willing to cover holidays and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a hospital or critical access setting.
• Active Iowa license or compact multistate license.
• Active BLS, ACLS, NRP and NBRC certifications.
• Experience across ED and ICU; neonatal care preferred.
• All certifications and licenses must be current.

Responsibilities

• Work across hospital areas including emergency department and intensive care unit.
• Screening via phone or text from a designated area code.
• Be available to work 1–2 of the upcoming winter holidays and every other weekend.
• Able to use Drager Vents, Airvo, V60s and NKV-330s equipment.
• Provide references from charge nurses or supervisors within the past 24 months.

Must-Have:

• Must be located at least 50 miles from the facility.
• All certifications and licenses must be active.

Description:Screening for clinicians will involve a phone call or text from a designated area code.The unit requires contractors to work 1-2 of the three upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.Candidates must be prepared to work every other weekend.Must be able to work in all areas of the hospital, including emergency department and intensive care unit.Experience with specific equipment is necessary, including Drager Vents, Airvo, V60s, NKV-330s.First-time travelers will be considered.Work history must reflect current experience in the specified role.Professional references from charge nurses or supervisors within the past 24 months are preferred.Candidates must maintain current, active licenses and certifications.All requirements must be met prior to submission for consideration.
