Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Program Manager to lead clinical therapy services across rehab settings. The role oversees therapy staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives program development while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Ideal candidates hold PT/OT/SLP licensure, have 3–5 years of clinical rehab experience, and demonstrate leadership and strong communication skills in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy and/or PT/OT/SLP Assisting.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as PT/OT/SLP and/or PTA/COTA, or license eligible.
• Experience: 3–5 years of clinical rehab experience.
• Supervisory: Supervisory or management experience in healthcare, preferably rehab therapy.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and supervise clinical therapy staff, including hiring, performance appraisals, and fostering a positive team atmosphere.
• Monitor personnel compliance, credentials, and develop corrective action plans when necessary.
• Maintain a clinical caseload and ensure delivery of high-quality therapy services in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., CARF, JCAHO).
• Conduct reviews of therapy programs and services to assess effectiveness and efficiency.
• Develop strategies to expand therapy programs, including building caseloads and initiatives like fitness/dementia programs.
• Lead marketing efforts with local hospitals, physicians, and the community to promote the therapy program.
• Oversee scheduling of patients and therapists to ensure adequate coverage.
• Track and report assessment period data, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to Medicare and company guidelines.
• Investigate and resolve patient, staff, or service-related issues, ensuring open communication and problem-solving.
• Provide ongoing education and in-service training to staff and community members.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations governing rehabilitation services.
• Ensure a safe environment by complying with infection control, OSHA standards, and proper use of tools and equipment.
