Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Therapy Coordinator to oversee the rehabilitation department, align patient care with financial goals, and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations. The role includes strategic staff scheduling to meet patient needs and drive outcomes.

Responsibilities span coordination with other services, billing/documentation oversight, and participation in interdisciplinary meetings to advance quality care and service excellence across 44 states.

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in Physical Therapy, PT/PTA, OT/OTA, or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech-Language Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients and delegate tasks to staff.
• Coordinate departmental functions for efficiency.
• Communicate with facility administration about goals, programs, risks, and achievements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings including utilization review, quality assurance, and care conferences.
• Ensure timely and accurate MDS reporting.
• Oversee billing and documentation of services provided.
• Maintain state licenses and stay informed on professional developments.
